Over the past couple of weeks, our department was afforded a unique opportunity to train on a retired Baltimore County tiller truck. This highly maneuverable piece of equipment is something most of our members, and firefighters never get the opportunity to train with, or experience. The chief, and assistant chief are certified tillerman, and were able to give our members a first hand look at how these units operate. Several drivers, and firefighters got behind the wheel both in front, and back to navigate through cone courses set up on the parking lot.
